In the scenic Black hills near Hill City SD, right off the shores of Sheridan Lake, you will find the community of Blue Wing Recreation
There are lots that make up Blue Wing, which consists of vacation cabins and RV sites unlike any other in the Hills. Blue Wing is just walking distance from Sheridan Lake, and we have a private gated entrance where you have complete access to the lake and south dock, with a purchase of an annual pass. Here you can spend the day on the lake, hike on the Black Hills trails, relax in the beautiful outdoors, and end the day with family and friends at your campfire.

Directions: (Blue Wing can be accessed two ways)
- From Highway 16 take the Calumet Road turn-off and continue on Forest Service Road #392 approximately three miles to the Blue Wing entrance.
- Turn off US Highway 385 at the Sheridan Lake South Beach entrance. Continue east approximately one and a half miles on Forest Service Road #392 to the Blue Wing entrance.
Note: Blue Wing cannot be accessed through the Forest Service Campgrounds on the south side of Sheridan Lake.
